Senate Democrats Block Vital Aid for Small Businesses and American Workers

Today, Senate Democrats stood on the chamber floor and blocked adding an additional $250 billion of relief money to a program designed to help American small businesses keep its workforce employed.

The move comes as the program is quickly running out of money due to the demand from businesses across the country. Many workers are out of work as revenue for their employers has completely dried up as the country embraces social distancing and stay at home orders in the fight against the coronavirus.
